Experts have clarified in the past that cows, like any other animal, exhale carbon di-oxide, other gases, and some of the residual oxygen it inhales. In fact, cows emit methane while belching.

Raising cows requires using a lot of water, at a higher rate than other types of meat and crops. Habitat loss is normally associated with non-human species, but cattle ranching is directly linked to the loss of the ancestral homes of Indigenous communities as well. The demand for beef is a major driver of deforestation, which results in land degradation including soil loss.
How do cows effect air pollution?

How does a cow produce methane gas?

Statistics vary regarding how much methane the average dairy cow expels. Some experts say 100 liters to 200 liters a day (or about 26 gallons to about 53 gallons), while others say it’s up to 500 liters (about 132 gallons) a day. How much methane is produced by cows every year? A single cow, on average, releases 70 to 120 kgs of methane per year.
What is the correct way to breathe?
To breathe properly, take deep breaths using your diaphragm so you’re getting more oxygen, and avoid taking shallow breaths with your chest. To tell if you’re breathing with your diaphragm, place your hand on your belly and inhale. If it expands, you’re breathing with your diaphragm, and if it doesn’t, you’re taking shallow breaths.
