Should the weight of a frozen package be equal to thawed weight?
Notionally, it should be almost equal. However: to the extent water vapor in the air has been trapped and frozen in the packaging, and/or the frozen items leach water when thawed, the drained thawed weight would be less to some degree. This potential variation increases with the volume involved.
